Rapper Blueface Detained, Released After Suspected Swatting Call in Los Angeles

Rapper Blueface was briefly detained by Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies after they responded to a report of serious violence at a restaurant in Santa Clarita, California. Deputies detained several people while investigating the emergency call. Blueface was filmed leaving the restaurant with his hands raised before he was handcuffed. He was later released after officers found no evidence that a crime had taken place. Authorities reportedly believe the call was a swatting incident, in which someone makes a false emergency report to trigger a major police response. Blueface has not publicly commented on the incident.
