Itele’s Wife Says She Deleted Video About Irewole Olaniyan After Her Husband’s Appeal
Aminat Omowunmi Yekini, wife of Nollywood actor Itele, says she removed a video addressing actress Irewole Olaniyan after her husband asked her to do so. She maintained that the deletion was not prompted by online criticism. Her earlier post had criticised people defending Irewole amid allegations of an affair with a married man. The dispute began after a woman accused Irewole of a long-running relationship with her husband. Irewole acknowledged that they had dated but said she ended it after learning that he was married. She also denied claims that the relationship continued and accused the wife of trying to damage her reputation.
