Nollywood actress and producer Ruth Kadiri says fear of the unknown made her keep her marriage and personal life away from public attention. Speaking on a recent podcast, Kadiri said she was unsure whether her marriage would succeed and wanted to avoid unnecessary drama around her relationship. Her husband supported the decision. The couple invited only 50 guests to their 2018 wedding, with each of them choosing 25 people. They have since welcomed two daughters, born in 2019 and 2022.
