Nwifuru Urges Ebonyi Corps Members to Build Skills and Promote Unity

Ebonyi Governor Francis Nwifuru has urged 2026 Batch C Stream I corps members posted to the state to acquire entrepreneurial skills, support their host communities and promote national unity. At their swearing-in ceremony in Afikpo, he encouraged them to use the NYSC Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development programme rather than depend solely on paid employment. He also asked them to pursue Community Development Service projects in education, healthcare, agriculture, environmental protection, digital literacy and entrepreneurship. The NYSC state coordinator called for upgrades at the orientation camp, including a modern kitchen, standard dining hall, skills acquisition centre, stronger perimeter fencing and more seating at the multipurpose hall.
