UniCal Disowns Alleged Scammer Offering to Alter Students’ Results

The University of Calabar has warned students against an individual allegedly posing as a staff member and offering to improve examination results for payment. The university said its security checks found no employee known as “Prof. Odong” in its ICT unit. The suspect allegedly contacts students, claims their results are poor and demands money to help alter or facilitate them. UniCal urged students not to share personal or examination details or pay anyone who promises to change their results. Students who have been contacted were advised to report the matter to the appropriate authorities.
