Anambra Opens Registration for 2026 Christian Pilgrimage
Anambra State has approved participation in the 2026 Christian pilgrimage to the Holy Land, reviving a programme that had been inactive in the state for years. The Deputy Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Pius Okoye, welcomed the approval and pledged support for the exercise. Officials said the programme is intended to promote spiritual renewal, cultural learning and community development. The State Pilgrim Affairs Office also announced that registration forms for the 2026 pilgrimage are now on sale. A Christian Pilgrims Summit is planned to educate residents on the requirements and encourage responsible participation.
