VP Shettima Departs for ECOWAS Summit in Freetown
Vice President Kashim Shettima left Abuja on Sunday to represent President Bola Tinubu at the 69th Ordinary Session of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of ECOWAS in Freetown, Sierra Leone. He will join fellow West African leaders and business figures at the Julius Maada Bio International Conference Centre on July 19 to discuss key policy decisions and strategic resolutions. The summit will focus on peace, democracy, economic growth and regional integration. Shettima is expected to return to Abuja once the summit concludes.
