Soldier Killed as Boko Haram Burns Police Post, Clinic and Classrooms in Ngala, Borno
Suspected Boko Haram insurgents stormed Logomani community in Ngala Local Government Area of Borno State late Tuesday. They set fire to a police outpost, a primary healthcare centre and two classroom blocks after firing indiscriminately, forcing residents to flee for safety. The attack occurred near the Forward Operating Base in Logomani, where one soldier was killed and two military gun trucks along with other combat equipment were damaged during the exchange. According to the Acting Military Information Officer for Operation Hadin Kai, troops quickly regrouped, repelled the coordinated assault and drove the terrorists away. Reinforcements have been deployed and additional defensive measures are now in place to secure the area against further attacks.
