Jonathan Rowe Rejects Comparisons With Ademola Lookman After Atalanta Move

England Under-21 winger Jonathan Rowe says he is not trying to replicate Ademola Lookman after joining Atalanta from Bologna. Rowe said he spoke with the Nigerian forward during the summer and that Lookman’s positive comments about Atalanta encouraged him to make the move. However, he stressed that they are different players with different strengths. The 23-year-old takes over the number 11 shirt previously worn by Lookman. Reports say Atalanta’s deal for Rowe could rise to €40 million, including a loan fee, an obligation to buy and performance-related add-ons.
