Katsina Governor Radda Awards ₦7m, Laptops and PG Scholarships to Top BUK Medical Graduates
Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda has awarded ₦7 million, Lenovo laptops and postgraduate scholarships to three outstanding medical graduates of Bayero University Kano. Dr. Ismail Abubakar Muhammad, the overall best student and top performer in Biochemistry and Medicine and Surgery, received ₦3 million, a laptop and sponsorship for postgraduate training in Nuclear Medicine. Dr. Abba Bashir, who excelled in Anatomy, Physiology and Pharmacology, received ₦2 million, a laptop and a postgraduate scholarship. Dr. Fatima Tukur Sada, the best student in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, received the same package. The governor said the support reflects the state's commitment to academic excellence, youth development and building skilled health professionals.
