Nigerian Pastors with Notable First-Class and Academic Records
Several Nigerian pastors are also known for strong academic achievements before entering full-time ministry. William F. Kumuyi reportedly earned a first-class degree in Mathematics from the University of Ibadan in 1967. Daniel K. Olukoya graduated with first-class honours in Microbiology from the University of Lagos and later obtained a doctorate in molecular genetics. Enoch Adejare Adeboye studied Mathematics at the University of Ife and later earned a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Lagos. Emmanuel Iren graduated with a first-class degree in Building Technology from Covenant University and later obtained an MBA from the University of Lagos. Readers should note that the first-class claim applies to Kumuyi, Olukoya and Iren in this list, while Adeboye is recognised here for his academic career and doctorate.
