Finidi George Enrols for CAF A-Licence Coaching Course in Abuja

Rivers United have confirmed that head coach Finidi George is in Abuja for the CAF A-Licence Coaching Course. The club explained that his participation in the elite programme was why he was absent from the bench during Wednesday’s NPFL match against Warri Wolves. Nigeria was readmitted to the CAF A Coaching Convention in 2026 after the Nigeria Football Federation’s curriculum was approved. The course’s return is expected to support the development of more top-level coaches in the country.
