Woman Says Beach Acquaintance Stole Her Phone, Wigs and Other Valuables After Staying Overnight

Ogechi says a woman she met at a beach and later allowed to stay in her home allegedly stole valuables worth millions of naira. She said the missing items included an iPhone 12 Pro, six wigs, a power bank, perfume and other belongings. Ogechi said she had initially kept her room locked because they barely knew each other, but later allowed the woman to charge her phone and sleep in the room. According to her, she traced and apprehended the woman after sharing her details online, recovering some items. She said she did not pursue legal action because of the cost of following the case through.
