Infantino, Nigerian Sports Officials Discuss Football Governance and Youth Development
FIFA President Gianni Infantino says his meeting with a Nigerian delegation in Zurich focused on strengthening the foundations of Nigerian football. The delegation, led by National Sports Commission Chairman Shehu Dikko, discussed governance reforms, institutional development, youth pathways and areas for deeper collaboration between FIFA and Nigeria. Infantino said FIFA is ready to support efforts to create stronger structures and more opportunities for young footballers. The delegation also included NSC Director General Bukola Olopade, NFF acting General Secretary Emmanuel Ikpeme and former NFF president Amaju Pinnick.
