FRSC Denies Claim That Gombe Lawmaker Secured 50 Recruitment Slots
The Federal Road Safety Corps has dismissed as false a viral claim that Ali Isah, the lawmaker representing Balanga/Billiri Federal Constituency in Gombe State, secured 50 recruitment slots for constituents. The corps said no appointment letters have been issued in the ongoing 2026 recruitment exercise. Candidates who passed earlier screening and interview stages have only been invited for further training and assessment at designated schools and the FRSC Academy. FRSC stressed that training invitations are not employment offers. It said only candidates who complete all required screening, regimentation and training stages without disqualification will be considered for formal appointment. Applicants and the public were urged to disregard claims that jobs can be obtained through political influence, payment or personal connections, and to rely on official FRSC communications.
