Chelsea bounced back from their defeat to Brentford with a commanding 5-1 Premier League win over Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge. Jordan Henderson opened the scoring inside two minutes after a Cole Palmer lay-off, before Morgan Rogers doubled the lead. João Pedro added Chelsea’s third shortly after half-time from Pedro Neto’s low cross. Evanilson pulled one back for Bournemouth in the 51st minute, but Chelsea quickly regained control. João Pedro scored again in the 67th minute, while Henderson completed the rout with a superb free-kick three minutes later. The win moves Chelsea up to fifth place, while Bournemouth are still searching for their first victory of the season.
