I ordered a dual-band router from Gatenet Africa Ltd, but only the 2.4GHz band worked. I spent an extra ₦19,000 on return delivery, bringing my total cost to ₦54,000 for a defective device. I tried repeatedly to get a replacement or refund. They refused to send a working unit and declined to refund my initial ₦35,000—even after I offered to let them deduct ₦4,000 for their trouble. This experience has shaken my trust in online sellers. Always test items thoroughly before paying. It can be nearly impossible to recover your money once a faulty product is returned.
