Man Arrested in Majorca After Allegedly Kissing 4-Year-Old in Hotel Pool

A 33-year-old Romanian man was arrested at a Majorcan hotel after allegedly approaching a four-year-old British boy in the pool and kissing him on the face. The incident occurred on May 20 when the boy’s mother intervened and the man immediately stopped. Witnesses say the man hugged and kissed the child in front of shocked holidaymakers. Police took statements from the family and witnesses before charging him with sexual assault. He appeared in a Palma court on May 21, escorted by Civil Guard officers wearing the same clothes he had on at the time of the arrest. The British family returned home following the hearing.
