U.S. Central Command reports two American service members were killed and one is missing in action after Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks in Jordan on July 17. Four more troops were evacuated to Jordanian hospitals, treated, and since discharged. Other personnel suffered minor injuries and have returned to duty. CENTCOM will withhold the identities of the fallen until 24 hours after next-of-kin notification. These are the first U.S. military fatalities in the Iran conflict since March.
