South African Man Arrested Over Alleged Killing of Girlfriend, Her Sister and Another Man
Police in South Africa have arrested 41-year-old James Mohajane over the alleged killing of three people in Moeka Vuma near Makapanstad, North West province. The victims were identified as Mohajane's girlfriend, Moipone Lefoka; her sister, Esther Lefoka; and Esther's boyfriend, Tshepo Molekwa. Police allege they were attacked with a spade at Molekwa's home over the weekend. Mohajane was reportedly handed over to police by community members less than 12 hours after authorities circulated his photograph. Police said his mobile phone was found at the scene after he allegedly fled. The South African Police Service praised the community, media and social-media users for helping to locate the suspect. He is expected to face charges as investigations continue.
