People Keep Telling Me I’m Too Beautiful to Work
I genuinely want to work, especially in a role I enjoy that pays well. But whenever I apply for jobs, people tell me I am too beautiful for the role and suggest that I should become a model instead. My ex even discouraged me from working because he believed I would cheat. Some people assume I cannot handle stress and should simply stay home as a housewife. I have never truly earned my own money because my boyfriends have always provided for me. I am tired of sitting idle all day. I want to work, become financially independent, and do something that makes me happy.
