My HIV Test Result Came Back Negative After Three Months of Fear
A few months ago, I met a woman online and invited her over. Before we had sex, I asked that we both take an HIV test. Her result was positive, and she said she had been on treatment for about three years. Although we did not have penetrative sex, I became very worried about possible exposure through oral sex. The hospital advised me to return after three months for a conclusive test. I took the follow-up test today, and it was negative. I repeated the test at another laboratory and got the same negative result. I am grateful for the relief and the lesson this experience has taught me about sexual health and safety.
