Kanu Urges Enyimba Fans to Keep Faith Ahead of Sporting Lagos Clash
Enyimba chairman Nwankwo Kanu has appealed to supporters to remain behind the club after its difficult start to the NPFL season. The People’s Elephant lost 1-0 at home to Inter Lagos on Sunday, their third defeat in three league matches. The nine-time champions are bottom of the table after only avoiding relegation on the final day of last season. Enyimba host Sporting Lagos on Wednesday and will be seeking their first win of the campaign. Kanu thanked fans for their support and said the team is determined to recover.
