Three Teens Arrested After 14-Year-Old Fatally Shot in Broad Daylight in London
A 14-year-old boy died after being shot in broad daylight on Lord Warwick Street in Woolwich. Police were called at around 3:40 pm on Thursday, and despite paramedics’ efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Two boys, aged 14 and 16, and an 18-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody as inquiries continue. Witnesses reported seeing youths carrying weapons and wearing face coverings near shops on Kingsman Parade shortly before the shooting. Detective Chief Inspector Lucie Card said officers are working swiftly to establish the full circumstances and urged anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward. The killing, coming days after another fatal shooting in London, has intensified concerns about rising youth violence in the capital.
