Former PDP Chairman Bamanga Tukur to Be Buried in Yola
Former Peoples Democratic Party National Chairman Bamanga Tukur will be buried in Yola, Adamawa State, on Sunday, September 13. Tukur died in Abuja on Saturday, three days before his 91st birthday. His remains were expected to arrive in Yola on Saturday evening. Funeral prayers will hold at the palace of the Lamido of Adamawa at 10 a.m., followed by his burial. He is survived by two wives and 18 children. Tukur was a businessman, elder statesman, former governor of the defunct Gongola State and a former national chairman of the PDP.
