Ex-Okada Rider Caught Excreting 100 Meth Wraps at Lagos Airport
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency arrested a former okada rider at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos. He had ingested 100 wraps of methamphetamine in Uganda. The suspect spent 15 years working as a commercial motorcyclist before joining a transnational drug syndicate to boost his income. Intelligence leads and surveillance guided operatives to his arrest. Under observation by NDLEA officers, he excreted all 100 consignments. The agency said his plan for a quick financial upgrade ended in arrest and ‘‘premium tears.’’
