Ruth Kadiri Urges NAFDAC to Tackle Fake Food, Drugs and Household Products
Actress Ruth Kadiri has urged the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control to intensify action against counterfeit and potentially contaminated products in Nigeria. She said fake food, drinks, medicines, cosmetics and household items could expose consumers to serious health risks. She expressed particular concern about products bought for children. Kadiri shared an experience in which garlic she blended changed colour unexpectedly. She called on the agency to strengthen monitoring and protect Nigerians from harmful goods in circulation.
