Veteran actor Jide Kosoko says he is often nervous when Funke Akindele calls him for a role because of her exacting approach to filmmaking. Speaking on a podcast, Kosoko said Akindele may require a scene to be filmed up to 15 times before she is satisfied. He recalled that she can also request a reshoot the next day over details such as the plates used in a scene. Although he described the process as demanding, Kosoko praised Akindele’s work ethic and commitment to quality. He said her energy and attention to detail help drive the success of her productions.
