Osun Commissioner Released After Questioning Over Ilesa APC Rally Shooting

Osun State Police Command has released the Commissioner for Environment and Sanitation, Moyowa Adejoorin, after questioning him over a shooting at an APC rally in Ilesa. Four people, including teenager Tobi Ilesanmi, were reportedly injured in the incident. Police said the area was cordoned off and expended cartridges, along with Amotekun personnel caps, were recovered. Police spokesperson DSP Abiodun Ojelabi said Adejoorin was arrested at the scene after his vehicle was stopped with an Amotekun operative alleged to have been involved in the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
