Osun 2022: LGAs That Gave Adeleke His Biggest Margins Over Oyetola
A review of the 2022 Osun governorship election results shows that Ademola Adeleke’s widest winning margins over Gboyega Oyetola came from Ede North, Ede South, Osogbo and Egbedore. Ede North delivered Adeleke’s largest margin of 14,328 votes, with 23,931 votes to Oyetola’s 9,603. Ede South followed with a margin of 13,734 votes, while Osogbo gave him a 7,449-vote lead and Egbedore delivered a margin of 4,002. Other LGAs where Adeleke led included Obokun, Ejigbo, Ilesa West, Olorunda, Irepodun, Ila, Oriade, Atakunmosa West, Ifelodun, Odo Otin, Ife North, Orolu and Boluwaduro. The figures highlight the areas that proved decisive in his victory, according to election results cited from INEC.
