Vink Surprised by Arokodare’s Fast Start at Ajax
Former Ajax midfielder Marciano Vink says he did not expect Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare to settle so quickly at the Dutch club. Arokodare, who joined Ajax from Wolves this summer, has scored five goals in eight appearances in all competitions this season. Vink praised the 25-year-old’s strength, close control and finishing, saying the Nigerian offers Ajax a different option in attack. He added that Arokodare can still improve his heading but has shown impressive footballing quality in tight spaces.
