Sexyy Red Faces $5m Default Judgment Request Over Alleged Doxxing of Child’s Grandmother
Rapper Sexyy Red is facing a request for a $5 million default judgment in a civil lawsuit filed by Nicole Barnes, the grandmother of one of her children. Barnes alleges that the rapper posted her home address online and encouraged followers to force their way into the property and harm her. She says the alleged incident put her in danger and forced her to leave her home. The suit was filed in March 2025. Barnes says Sexyy Red did not respond after service was eventually made through a newspaper publication. However, the rapper’s lawyer has described the allegations as baseless and says she intends to defend the case. A judge has not ruled on the request, and the allegations have not been proven in court.
