Victor Osimhen made an emotional return to Lille as Galatasaray beat his former club 4-2 in the Champions League. The Super Eagles striker scored in the second half and chose not to celebrate against the club where he made his name in European football. He later said he still loves Lille’s Stade Pierre-Mauroy and wished the French side well. Osimhen was named UEFA Player of the Match after helping Galatasaray come from behind twice. Lille supporters gave him a standing ovation when he was substituted late in the game.
