Nigeria Draw Ghana in 2026 Beach Soccer AFCON Qualifiers
Nigeria’s Super Sand Eagles will face Ghana in the second round of the 2026 Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The first-leg matches are scheduled for 9–11 October, with the return legs to hold from 16–18 October. Senegal will host the 2026 Beach Soccer AFCON, which also serves as Africa’s qualifier for the 2027 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup. Both finalists will qualify for the World Cup. Nigeria are two-time African champions and have reached the Beach Soccer World Cup six times. Their best World Cup performances were quarter-final appearances in 2007 and 2011, but they have missed the last three editions.
