Super Eagles Defender Nnaiwu Welcomes Challenge of Facing Trabzonspor’s Salah
Super Eagles defender Chibuike Nnaiwu says he would welcome the challenge of playing against Trabzonspor teammate Mohamed Salah, describing the Egyptian forward as one of football’s most dangerous attackers. Nnaiwu spoke after Trabzonspor’s 2-1 Süper Lig win over Istanbul Başakşehir. Salah scored both goals for the hosts, while Eldor Shomurodov scored Başakşehir’s equaliser from the penalty spot. The 23-year-old said facing elite forwards would help him improve as a defender.
