Tottenham Exclude Richarlison From Premier League Squad as Exit Looms
Tottenham Hotspur have omitted Brazilian forward Richarlison from their Premier League squad for the 2026-27 season. Head coach Roberto De Zerbi has reportedly told the 29-year-old that he is not in his plans. Richarlison remained at the club after the English transfer deadline, but he could still leave for a country with an open window, with Türkiye mentioned as a possible destination. De Zerbi said Richarlison had repeatedly expressed a desire to leave. The player responded by insisting that he would only accept a move that benefits both him and Tottenham, asking the club to handle his situation with respect. Richarlison joined Spurs from Everton in 2022 and scored 11 Premier League goals last season. Tottenham have also strengthened their squad with several new arrivals, including Mykhailo Mudryk, Tosin Adarabioyo, Sandro Tonali, Sávio, Mateus Fernandes and Omar Marmoush.
