Oluremi Tinubu Receives ‘Oso Di Eme 1’ Traditional Title in Imo
Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has received the traditional title of “Oso Di Eme 1” during a visit to Imo State. The title translates as “She Does Like Her Husband.” Traditional rulers presented her with the honour at a ceremony attended by monarchs in full chieftaincy regalia. The First Lady wore traditional beads and colourful attire at the event. Her visit also came ahead of the conferment of an honorary doctorate by the Federal University of Technology, Owerri. The wording of the title, which directly references President Bola Tinubu, has drawn playful reactions online.
