New Creation in Christ: Old Things Have Passed Away

Salvation in Christ makes me a new creation, not a painted or recycled version of my old self. As Scripture teaches, old things have passed away and all things have become new. Through faith in Jesus, the old person is crucified and buried with Christ. I rise with Him into a new life, forgiven of sin and freed from the ordinances that stood against me. I am crucified with Christ, yet I live. Christ now lives in me, and I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Amen.
