Why I Think Some Daters Become More Selective When Their Preferred Partners Are Unavailable
I want to discuss a pattern I notice in modern dating. Sometimes, people become far more demanding when they cannot date the type of partner they truly prefer. Think of someone who strongly prefers iPhones but must choose from several Android phones. They may begin comparing camera quality, storage, processing speed and every other detail before deciding. In my view, a similar thing can happen in dating. When someone is not attracted to their available options, they may scrutinise every trait and set much higher standards. Do you think this comparison is fair, or does it oversimplify how people choose partners?
