Russia’s state nuclear corporation, Rosatom, has signed an agreement with Indonesian firm PT Pembangkit Listrik Nuklir to provide electricity from floating nuclear power units. The project involves two PEB-100 units with a combined capacity of 200 megawatts. They are expected to supply power to northern Halmahera Island in Indonesia’s North Maluku region.
