Survivor Recounts Tragic Attack: Pregnant Woman Killed in Plateau Health Centre

Daniel Nanle from Kawel community in Mushere District, Bokkos LGA, Plateau State, described how gunmen stormed a primary health centre on Sunday night. The attackers killed 22 people, including health workers, security officers and patients. Nanle’s younger sister, Larai Danjuma, was rushed to the labour ward as she prepared to give birth. Gunmen breached the room and shot her along with other patients and staff. During a condolence visit by the Deputy Governor, Nanle appealed to state and federal authorities for urgent action to prevent more such tragedies.
