Phyna Reportedly Sues Carter Efe for ₦500m Over Alleged Intimate-Relationship Claim

Phyna Reportedly Sues Carter Efe for ₦500m Over Alleged Intimate-Relationship Claim

BBNaija winner Phyna has reportedly filed a ₦500 million defamation suit against content creator Carter Efe over his alleged claim that they had an intimate relationship. She also said legal action had been taken against streamer Davrel following a separate online dispute. The controversy reportedly began after Davrel accused Carter Efe of making derogatory comments about Phyna. During their exchange, Phyna raised an allegation of unpaid debt, while Davrel made personal claims about her. Carter Efe later allegedly repeated the intimate-relationship claim during another social-media confrontation and said he could provide evidence. Phyna said legal documents had been served and that she would now address such allegations through the courts rather than online arguments. Neither Carter Efe nor Davrel had publicly responded to the reported legal action at the time of publication.

A reported ₦500 million claim sounds striking, but the public should avoid treating allegations as settled facts before the legal process speaks.
