Kenpoly Staff Reportedly Dies Days Before Traditional Wedding in Rivers

Mgboawaji Owor, a staff member of Ken Saro-Wiwa Polytechnic in Rivers State, has reportedly died days before his planned traditional wedding ceremony. A wedding invitation shared online indicated that the ceremony was scheduled for the first weekend of October. However, the dates stated in tributes and the invitation are inconsistent. The circumstances surrounding Owor’s death have not been made public. Members of the Andoni Students association at the polytechnic described him as a supportive mentor and expressed condolences to his family and loved ones.
