Saudi Arabia’s Supreme Court has announced the dates for the Day of Arafah and Eid-al-Adha in 2027, following the sighting of the crescent moon that marks the start of Dhul Hijjah 1447 AH. The court’s Crescent Sighting Department based its decision on multiple witness testimonies. It offered prayers for King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, acknowledging their support for pilgrims. Haramain Info also confirmed the moon sighting. In Nigeria, the Sultan of Sokoto and President-General of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs declared the first day of Dhul Hijjah. Muslims can now prepare for the spiritual rites of Arafah and the celebrations of Eid-al-Adha.
