Four Critically Injured as Container Truck Crashes Into Bus, Okadas in Mile 2

Four people sustained critical injuries after a container-laden Mack truck reportedly suffered brake failure and collided with another truck, a commercial bus and several motorcycles at First Gate, inward Mile 2, Lagos. The crash involved a truck carrying a 40-foot container, another conveying a 20-foot container, a commercial bus and nine commercial motorcyclists. The injured victims, three men and a woman, reportedly suffered multiple fractures. LASTMA officials rescued the victims, managed traffic at the scene and transferred them to a nearby hospital for urgent treatment. The truck driver and other drivers involved were handed over to the police for investigation.
