KJC Opens 75,000-Seat Kingdome in Davao City, Philippines
The Kingdom of Jesus Christ has opened the 75,000-seat Kingdome in Davao City, Philippines. More than 80,000 people reportedly attended the opening ceremony on September 1, 2026. Located in Sasa near Francisco Bangoy International Airport, the arena took about 14 years to complete after construction began in 2012. The project reportedly cost about ₱13 billion. Built mainly as a worship centre, the Kingdome can also host concerts, sporting events and other major gatherings. Its capacity is larger than the 55,000-seat Philippine Arena. The facility is linked to KJC founder Apollo Quiboloy. Davao City Mayor Sebastian Duterte attended the opening event.
