Actress Uche Ogbodo has urged women to value themselves and recognise their non-negotiables in marriage. She said no one should remain in a relationship where their needs are repeatedly ignored. Speaking in an interview, Ogbodo argued that faithfulness should be mutual. She said men should take responsibility for infidelity rather than excuse it as uncontrollable desire. She also stressed that abuse can be emotional or psychological, not only physical. While noting that many men are committed partners, she said women should not stay in marriages that damage their self-worth.
