According to the commission, ₦397.26 billion was recovered directly for the Federal Government, while ₦836.34 billion was recovered for government agencies, states, companies, individuals and foreign victims. It said ₦661.32 billion and $492.37 million had been released to beneficiaries. The EFCC also said it received 49,673 petitions, investigated 39,615 cases, filed 14,476 cases and secured 10,872 convictions. It reported that 10,053 assets, including properties, vehicles, electronic devices and land, were forfeited under court orders.
