Flamingos’ Discipline Should Be a Lesson for Super Eagles, Says Fan
Ahead of the U-17 Women’s World Cup final against Japan, a Nigerian football fan praised the Flamingos for their discipline, determination and improvement throughout the tournament. He said they regrouped after losing their opening match 2–1 to Poland and grew more organised as the competition progressed. The fan also praised Nigeria’s 3–1 semi-final victory over Brazil and said he was confident the team would win the final. A victory would have made Nigeria the first African country to lift the U-17 Women’s World Cup trophy. He urged the Super Eagles to learn from the young players’ tactical discipline, commitment and ability to follow their coach’s instructions.
