My Mum Treats Me Like a Rival – Is This Normal?

Today my mum made swallow with egusi soup. After a long fight I finally got my share of egusi and eba, but there was no meat. Then my friend came by and gave my brother meat, and my other siblings had meat too. Mum even kept the soup in her room and started singing a cruel song. This is the same woman who was once arrested for paying someone to remove windows, glass panes and toilet fittings from a furnished house because she thought the owners had travelled. The police arrested her and me, even though I was just at home. She always seems to need someone to compete with or nag. My dad does nothing to stop her – I feel like he’s not really my father anymore. I’m tired of holding it in and can’t help thinking about revenge.
